Far manager is so much better than mc because mc has inconveniences like this https://midnight-commander.org/ticket/3664: unable to type `-` key (among other keys) in command line (at least when used on macbook). This makes any serious usage of mc almost impossible (because cannot type any command line argument as it always starts with `-`).

mc : segmentation fault stable bug found (pay attention to mini status). did not yet tried to find such issue in their bug db. if we press OK now, it's segmentation fault:

One more thing (to I think thousands of other "uncomfortabilities" of MC): midnight commander does cache contents of archives without ANY possibility to refresh them! This means you could rebuild project into jar and WILL see old contents!
Wtf cool FAR manager isn't yet ported to linux?!
